Originally built in the mid-80s as part of the rapidly developing Trans-Amadi Industrial Estate (amongst the first of its kind in the country), this 2,400sqm industrial shed served its users as a logistics and storage hub in support of the locally dominant oil & gas industry.

Inclusive of its circa 6,800sqm site the facility was marginally repurposed in the early 2000s as a fabrication yard and equipment storage, again in support of the same industry. It however outlived its appropriateness as operational requirements evolved and years later started falling into decay and disrepair due to sub-utilization.

As a primary program this project involves demolition of the existing sheds and development of a purpose-built industrial shed, equipped with a modern testing facility, fabrication capacity, and personnel support amenity extending to circa 3,000sqm. The secondary program includes provision of a 5,100sqm corporate office building with basement parking amongst others.

Ground-breaking to be concluded in 2025-Q1.

As a commitment to climate sensitivity and environmental sustainability, this project is designed and being developed to achieve the World Bank developed IFC-EDGE Green Building certification, the first such project in the South-South region of the country. To achieve this a series of initiatives are employed including extensive facade shading systems, solar power systems to serve for over 25% of the aggregate demand, and hybrid mechanical solutions amongst others.
